Welcome to Orange Chair Art Studio, a joyful after-school art program for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, located in the heart of North Capitol Hill in Seattle.

At Orange Chair, we believe every child is an artist. Our studio is a warm, welcoming space where creativity is encouraged, curiosity is celebrated, and imagination has room to grow. We provide a nurturing environment where young artists can explore a wide range of materials and techniques—from painting and drawing to mixed media—while building confidence and self-expression along the way. 

Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support each child’s developmental stage, allowing Kindergarteners through 5th graders to experiment, create, and discover at their own pace. We focus on process over perfection, helping students develop creative problem-solving skills, resilience, and pride in their work.
